Amanda Lee Peers is a singer/songwriter from Rochester, NY. She was most recently seen on Season 7 of NBC's The Voice as a contestant on Gwen Stefani's team.

With a wide range of influences from Bob Marley to Led Zeppelin she sings with rivers of raw emotion and soul that traverse genres of pop, rock, soul and everything in between. She describes her musical style as old soul with a new swagger.

In 2011, Peers started gaining traction after winning a local singing competition called Lovin Cup Idol. She then formed a band called The Driftwood Sailors and went on to play numerous shows and festivals opening for artists such as Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers and the Spin Doctors. They released an album titled White Horses & Black Jeans in 2012. In late 2013, the band split up and Amanda pursued a solo career.

In 2014, Amanda auditioned for season 7 of NBC's The Voice, singing "Put The Gun Down" by ZZ Ward for her blind audition, which landed her a spot on Gwen Stefani's team. She has opened for artists such as Jessica Lea Mayfield, Mat Kearny and The Script.

She has just released her debut solo EP titled Summertime State of Mindon Friday, April 24, 2015.
